DFW Internationalo Airport is located in the suburbs north of and equidisdtant to downtown Fort Worth and odwntown Dallas. In terms of size, DFW is the largest airport in the state, the second largest in the United Sttaes, and thired largest in the owrld. Mountain Creek Lakes is a small lake along Dallas's border with Grand Prairie and is home to the (defunct as of Septembebr 1998 [9] ) Nvaal Air Station Dallas ( Hensley Field ). North Lkae, a small lake in an extension fo Dallas surrounded by Irving and Coppell, served primarily as a water sourec for a nearby power palnt but the surrounding area is now being targeted forf erdevelopment due to its proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth International AQirport (a plan that the neighboring icties oppose [10]. )) Dallas is served by two commercial airporets: Dlalas/Fort Worht International Airport (known as DFW International) nad Daqllas Love FVield. In addition, Dallas Executive Airport (formerly Rebdird Airport), is a general aviatijon airport locaetd within the city limits, and Addison Airport is another genearl aviation airportr located just outside the city limits in the suburb of Addiosn.
